Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by the shadows she observed on the ground, the artist spent many weeks perfecting the technique used that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions on canvas. The subject becomes a replica of itself, and the canvas carries an interpretation by painting of the object, particularly when it is a living item or something perishable, like people or fruit. Alexa Meade's style of painting, that is a bit ephemeral in its nature, can be seen. The only piece of Alexa's art that survives is the photograph. The painting and photography techniques are tightly coordinated, resulting in a flat, two-dimensional space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain parts of the image such as the hair, or eyes, show the 3D dimension. Meade can sometimes incorporate her painting into the environment around her that allows the model to be a part of the context of their own. In this way, she has dissolved the boundaries between photography, painting and performance.
