Summer glau

Firefly is Whedon s next huge TV show that is a huge success. It is likely that she left an indelible impression because this single episode was the catalyst for her being a celebrity. Summer Glau's River Tam character was complex and Glau did a great job of handling it. Tam in the film, as her character in the film called, was subjected to government experiments that were designed to help her become a successful assassin. The capability of Tam to regulate her emotions was taken away from her. Glau was able to show her fighting abilities as well as her acting abilities on Firefly. The ability of Glau to fight was developed through her studies to be an"Assassin. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. Her broken toe, however, that put an end to her dance career. Firefly ran for only the duration of one episode, but enjoyed a huge fan base. Whedon was so enthralled by the show that he decided to return back to the show several years later.
