Bellamy Young

Young started her career as an actor in the theatre. The actress made her Broadway debut in 1997 with Mary as the lead actress of The Life. Also, she performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) as well as in the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995 as the character Dr. Courtney Evans. The actress guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998 in two characters. She debuted in film in 1999. She had a minor role in Black and White. In subsequent years, she was featured in various independent films. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began appearing in guest-starring roles on a number of comedy and drama shows on television, such as The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young is a regular on more than 30 television shows from 2000 and 2011. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. The show was pulled off the air after a season with nine episodes. She played as Deputy Dist. in the Lifetime drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of As Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs, as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) as well as ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) as well as CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
