Alice Englert

Alice Allegra Englert, born 15 June 1994, is a Australian actor, writer, director as well as a singer and songwriter. Her most well-known work is her role as Rosa in the movie Ginger & Rosa (2012) as well as Lena Duchannes in the film Beautiful Creatures Alice Allegra Englert was born in Sydney in June 1994. She is the daughter of New Zealand filmmaker Jane Campion and Australian filmmaker Colin Englert. She is the maternal granddaughter to actress Edith Campion and theatre director Richard Campion. Both of her parents served in the military, and her family was sent out to various locations. Campion explains "I lived the majority of my existence on an airplane." I've a great deal of passion towards New Zealand, though. My family's whimsical and artistic side lived." Her schooling was in Australia, New Zealand, New York City, Rome and London, as well as other places in England such as The Sibford School, a Quaker school located in Oxfordshire.
