Alex Flanagan

She attended The University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School located in Tucson, Arizona. She works for the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter as well as for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter during the Notre Dame home football games and for Football Night in America. Flanagan can be heard and seen in the popular online game Madden 10 and Madden 11, where she hosts the weekly game recap alongside Fran Charles. Alex is a native of Sonoita, Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she got married to. They have two daughters and one son. Alex's dad owns two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) as well as Dove Mountain. Flanagan started her career with KVOA-TV in the year of her undergraduate studies as a reporter and anchoring news. In 1998, she began covering sports. She worked as a reporter and anchor on NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. She was also one of the members in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. The first position she held in television was working as a Saturday anchor as well as a general assignment reporter for KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota following her graduation.
